Martial Pabon, PhD: Design of a Mobile Post-treatment Unit for Water Used During Fire Extinguishment Operations

Dr. Martial Pabon is currently Regulatory Affairs and Technology Leader for DuPont Chemical Solutions Enterprise, EMEA, as well as Technical Group Leader for fluorotelomers in fire fighting Foams. He has a diploma in polymers and adhesives (1989), studied polymers and plastics at the School of Chemistry, Univeristy of Lyon, France, beginning in 1993 and obtained his PhD in polymer chemistry in 1997. Martial first worked for Atofina after he graduated becoming responsible for fluorinated surfacatnts and R&D fior fluorotelomers in 2001. In 2003 he joined DuPont as technical service manager, becoming a Technical Group Leader in 2007. He has published papers on perfluorinated materials and fire fighting
foams.
