Solberg extends foam concentrate product line

INTERSCHUTZ LAUNCH:The Solberg Company, a producer of firefighting foam concentrates and systems hardware, announced at Interschutz 2015 in Hannover, Germany the company has achieved EN and IMO Certification on the company’s Re-Healing RF3x3% FP ATC and RF3x6% FP ATC foam concentrates.

Leaping ahead of increasingly stringent environmental regulations, Re-healing foam concentrate is a high-performance fluorosurfactant, fluoropolymer-free foam concentrate for use on Class B fuel fires.

RE-HEALING foam concentrates have been designed for flame knockdown, fire control, extinguishment, and burn-back resistance. Control, extinguishing time, and burn-back resistance is paramount to the safety of firefighters everywhere. Re-healing foam concentrates have shown excellent performance in each of these categories.
RE-HEALING foam can also be used to prevent re-ignition of a liquid spill and control hazardous vapours. Solberg Re-Healing foam concentrates are designed to replace traditional AFFF and AR-AFFF foam concentrates and older fluoroprotein foams. Concentrates are available in 1%, 3%, 6%, 3x3% ATC™ and 3x6% ATC formulations.
