SEMINAR: The Queensland Department of Environment and Heritage Protection is organising a one-day technical seminar for users, responders and regulators aimed at improving understanding of the chemistry, actions and impacts of fire fighting foam on the environment.
Sessions will cover the key considerations in assessing risk and what needs to be factored into decisions along with other considerations of performance, safety, health, property protection, cost, etc., so that the user can make a balanced assessment towards the best solution to manage and minimise the risks faced.
