The European Commission-sponsored Project Getaway will hold a workshop in London to provide outcomes and conclusions – October 13, Greenwich.

The three-year project, which completes in November 2014, is based upon the use of active and dynamic signage systems that guide evacuees to the most appropriate exit routes based upon real time measurements of crowd numbers as well as fire and smoke levels.

The system is designed to provide for much more effective evacuation strategies particularly in complex environments such as railway stations and airports.

The workshop will be held in Greenwich, London on Monday 13th October 2014 from 10.00 am to 2.30pm.

Entry is free to the workshop but places are limited.
