Akron Brass Company appoints Sean Tillinghast as president.

Tillinghast, who most recently held the position of vice president of Weldon, a division of Akron Brass which specializes in lighting and electronic solutions to the student transportation, emergency services and specialty vehicle markets, will lead the company's strategy and vision.

Over his 17-year tenure with Weldon, Tillinghast has overseen all aspects of product development, operations and sales at the Columbus, Ohio manufacturing facility. A graduate of Kettering University (GMI-EMI), Tillinghast holds a bachelors of science degree in mechanical engineering and lives in Columbus with his wife of 21 years, Amy.
