7th annual CBRNE conference, 10-11 July, London – receive £300 off the conference price

Published:  19 June, 2013

Momentum is fast building for the 7th annual CBRNE Europe conference, which will feature a line-up of key military and industry speakers to examine the latest developments and challenges faced by the CBRNE community.

Following on from the success of the CBRNE series, the two-day conference will focus upon detection, response and threat of current CBRNE on a global scale and will feature information led presentations on the added threat of improvised explosive devices (IEDs). SMi have reflected this in the rebranding of the CBRN series to CBRNE. This extra emphasis on explosions will serve to include IEDs as a real and relevant threat and not exclude it from any of the current debate and conference themes moving forward.

CBRNE Europe 2013 features the following key speakers:

·               Colonel Hartmut Schmitt, CPP WMD, NATO SHAPE

·               Dr. Jill Bellamy van Aalst, CEO, Warfare Technology Analytics

·                Brigadier General (ret'd) Ioannis Galatas, Medical/Hospital CBRNE Planner, Hellenic National Defense General Staff

·               Mr Keith Prior, Director, National Ambulance Resilience Unit

·               Major Christophe Libeau, Hazmat & CBRN Brigade Officer, Paris Region Radiological Technical Advisor, Paris Fire Brigade

SMi’s CBRNE event series has been attended by some of the leading names within the industry including: British Transport Police, Government of Japan, Defence CBRN Centre UK, Federal Bureau of Investigation, FLIR Systems, International Committee Of The Red Cross, Interpol, Metropolitan Police Service, Japan MoD, NATO Headquarters, Qatar Armed Forces, Rheinmetall, Royal Thai Army, Selex, Singapore Police Force, Smith Detection, US Military plus many more.

Hemming Fire readers will receive £300 off the conference price. You can register online at www.cbrne-event.com and quote SMI4B4M to receive the discount.
