FABIG publishes technical meetings

Next meeting will be held in Scotland in June, on new developments in fire resistant materials.

The Fire and Blast Information Group (FABIG) is a non-profit, membership based organisation committed to promoting the protection of life, property and the environment through the development and sharing of expert knowledge on fires and explosions.

The Group’s list of technical meetings upto September 2013 are:

The Emergency Services Show relocates to the NEC Birmingham, UK
The organisers of The Emergency Services Show are pleased to announce that the event will be moving to The NEC, Birmingham. In addition, the show is moving from its traditional November dates and will be held this year from 25-26 September to take advantage of longer daylight hours for outdoor exhibitors.

A FABIG meeting on 'Innovations for the Prevention, Detection, Control and Mitigation of Fires and Explosions' will take place on 15 and 16 June 2010 in London, Aberdeen and via webcast.
Final Programme for FABIG Technical Meeting covering 'Ignition': 28th and 29th of April 2010 in Aberdeen, London and via webcast
The meeting will cover "Ignition" and will be a half day event held on Wednesday the 28th of April 2010 in Aberdeen and on Thursday the 29th in London and via live webcast (registering for the webcast also enables subsequent access to a video recording of the event for two weeks).
Intersec Dubai 2012 – highlights
19,591 trade visitors made their way to the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre for the 2012 edition of Intersec – an 18% per cent increase than at the previous event in 2011.
REAS - Emergency Exhibition and Interschutz join powers.
The REAS - Emergency Exhibition held in Montichiari, Italy, from October 4-6, 2013, has announced its new partnership with Interschutz, the largest and most important fire exhibition in the world. Hannover Fairs international GMBH and Centro Fiera Di Montichiari signed an agreement to become official partners, so the next edition of REAS is ‘powered by Interschutz’.
