Ansul to reveal ‘groundbreaking’ vehicle extinguishing system

The Automatic Fire Extinguishing System (AFES) will be unveiled at a major defence exhibition.

Ansul, marketed by Tyco Fire Protection Products, will launch the vehicle Automatic Fire Extinguishing System (AFES) at the world’s largest, fully integrated defence & security exhibition, DSEi, at Excel in London, between 13-16 September.

Lightweight and compact, the AFES system is engineered for ease of integration with multiple vehicle platforms thanks to its flexible, modular design.

In the event of a slow-growth or rapid-speed explosive event, the field proven agent allows the fire to be quickly detected and contained after automatic or manual activation.

The AFES system is described by Ansul as ‘an innovative progression in engineering within the fire suppression industry.’

Visitors to the DSEi can view the new system at stand N9-283.
