New Multifunctional Support Vehicle for the Fire Service of Middelburg-Vlissingen

The Middelburg-Vlissingen Fire Service in the Netherlands has taken delivery of a unique multi-functional truck, which combines a powder and a CAFS unit in one.
The aim was to develop a 4-person multifunctional extinguishing unit, which had to be equipped with a powder as well as a CAFS system, making this vehicle extremely suitable for compartment firefighting.

Body: ALU-Tech BMT-body with five roller-shutters
Watertank: 700 litres
Extinguishing system 1: _Powder kettel P-250, driven by nitrogen
Extinguishing systeem 2: DLS (Gimeax Schmitz for the international market) One Seven CAFS System.
Drive line: PTO drive line
Attack reel: DLS One Seven attck reel with 60m One Seven hose, extendable
Ladder: Tiltable Arbo rack, engineered for the ultimate balance
GVW: 6.500 kg
Engine capacity: 176hp
Gearbox: Automatic six speed
Wheelbase: 3.750 mm
Cab: Factory-built double
BA: Three BA brackets in cab
Light mast: Telescopic pneumatic mast, manufactured by Fireco in Italy
Body builder: BMT Brandweer & Milieutechniek b.v, in Oss, The Netherlands
Station: Stromenweg in Middelburg.
