Berlin Fire to receive CeoTronics communications systems worth € 1 million
Published: 27 May, 2011
The order is the optional part of a tender won by CeoTronics in September 2009 to supply digital radio systems to Berlin.
CeoTronics AG was commissioned by Land Berlin to supply CT MultiComs and communication systems (mostly for the Berlin fire brigade), each in ATEX, worth about €1 million.
The CT-MultiCom can be used as a handset with speaker and microphone to remotely operate a two-way radio or as PTT with an attached communication system.
ATEX means that the systems may be used in hazardous environments because they are intrinsically safe – neither by static electricity, nor by electric discharge to ignite gas mixtures.
