International User Conference 2010

On September 30, 2010, E-Semble organized the 'International User Conference 2010'. In an old high-tech equipped factory in Delft, they received over 80 customers and partners from Holland and abroad for a spectacular and festive program.
Rob Brons (President of the Executive Board of The Hague University) opened the conference with Joost Beerthuis (Managing Director E-Semble). A dazzling view of ten years of E-Semble was given on four huge projection screens, whereby the visitors had to do a lot of turning around in their chairs to see it all. An E-Semble Customer Award was awarded to Jessica de Olde from Hulpverlening Gelderland Midden (Safety Region Gelderland Midden), Frank van Wijk from Veiligheidsregio Utrecht (Safety Region Utrecht)and Thomas Kreuz from LFKS Rheinland Pfalz (Fire Service Disaster Management School in Koblenz) for their contribution to the growth of E-Semble. All participants to the festivities then were able to choose two out of six breakout sessions that were run by various customers and partners of E-Semble. In the afternoon, Dr. Ivo Wentzler of the Delft University of Technology started with an interactive, computer-less 'serious game' and gave a glimpse into the future of serious games. Martijn Boosman (Director of Business Strategy E-Semble) closed the plenary part of the day with a presentation on E-Semble's future activities followed by a panel discussion. The day ended with a pleasant drink and a delicious dinner. E-Semble were very happy that so many customers and partners could be present at their conference to make it such a fantastic day.
