Kingfell awarded LPS 1048 accreditation

Published:  20 October, 2010

London-based fire engineering company Kingfell plc has been awarded LPS 1048 certification by the UK’s foremost fire accreditation organization, the Loss Prevention Certification Board.

The certification covers the design and installation of sprinkler systems. Paul Bryant, Kingfell's CEO, points out that there is increasing demand for sprinklers: “However, few companies are offering this service, particularly within the London area.”

Kingfell is already certificated to the equivalent standard for fire detection and alarm systems, LPS1014. It is also known for its work with fire strategies and is the author of British Standard Specification PAS 911, covering this important area of fire engineering.
