Practical hazmat solutions from DQE

In response to feedback from frequent users of mobile decon showers, DQE launched the Indestructo Decon Shower, for use in rugged field conditions. “Most systems are made with pipes made of PVC, which can shatter if dropped on the ground.

Consequently we started using a fully collapsible shower made of ABS pipe, a virtually indestructible plastic, with specially designed shower heads.”
Another relatively new concept launched by DQE is the EveryBody coffin, an alternative for managing mass fatalities by using a recognisable and traditional solution. Levitin explains: “The concept for the EveryBody coffin came from a man in Holland who was watching the aftermath of the Tsunami and seeing the bodies stacking up. The EveryBody coffin resembles the IKEA concept, where the units are flat packed in transit and can be quickly assembled.
“People are still thinking of one to three thousand casualties for a mass fatalities incident. But when we are talking about incidents such as a pandemic, that is a major leap from 9/11.”
