Firmly established as a world leader in the manufacture of high pressure compressors designed for pressure regulation, distribution, and filling systems for breathing air, Lenhardt & Wagner Kompressoren (L&W Compressors) offers a number of reliable options for industry.
“L&W compressors have to be durable and reliable to meet the tough requirements of our fire service customers have. Ease of maintenance, running cost efficiency and value for money are high on the list of features integrated in the design and development of these high pressure systems,” a company spokesman told IFJ.
* W 570 D large capacity stationary compressor - designed to supply breathing air supplies to industry. The 570 series compressors comprise four-stage piston compressor units. The diesel-driven unit can be operated completely independently of a power supply, or where diesel applications are preferred for safety, such as petrochemical plants or airports, etc.
The heart of the unit is the LW 570 block, driven by a water-cooled Yanmar 3 cylinder diesel engine. An engine control facility monitors the condition of the drive and provides vital information for the operator. The unit provides breathing air purification in accordance with EN 12021, filter capacity 1200 m2 at 20°C (approx. 35 running hours) and comes with four filling hoses with filling valves and connections, and/or HP outlet.
* LW 450 ES: The design of this unit with an integrated 355mm (14”) diameter ventilator not only reduces the ambient noise level during operation but results in a running temperature 4-6°c below that of a compressor in a conventional housing. This unit offers air cooling and sonic insulation in a space-saving vertical design.
* THE LW 260 is a three-stage high pressure compressor especially suited to rescue diving operations and civil defence applications. It combines low running noise and reliability with simple operation. A multi-function ECC display informs the user about all relevant operating conditions including subsequent maintenance intervals.
An exceptionally low noise level of 62 dB(A) at one metre distance is achieved utilising intermediate floors, effective insulation and a finely balanced compressor unit all within the housing. The LW 210 ES / LW 260 ES silent breathing air compressors offers ‘exceptional reliability’ with the lowest possible ambient noise, says L&W.
